A beautiful late summer afternoon seemed the perfect reason to drive up the hill to hike around Mores Mountain.¹ We’ve always gone in the spring. It was nice to see the beginning of autumn colors for a change.
Hunter is making the most of the cap he picked up the day before at the Big Nasty.¹ He has a new look going.
The last time we hiked here Brenna was riding in the carrier on my back. I noticed the walk was easier this time.
The kids did a great job of keeping our threat (of falling) level raised.
Both kids love to find interesting rocks. They enjoyed many discoveries as we walked.
Hunter’s dour look is just part of the tough image he’s working on. He was having a great time.
Several surrounding fires perpetuate our haze.
He confessed that he wasn’t expecting to have fun but had a lot.
